This time the New York Daily News has named the 2017 Volkswagen Golf as the “Best Small Car” in the 2017 NYDN Auto Awards.

It’s no surprise to us that the 2017 VW Golf wooed the jury at the New York Daily News Auto Awards. The awards were judged by a panel of eight automotive journalists with the ultimate goal of ranging the vehicles in the order they would recommend them to friends, family, or coworkers. We think that’s a practical and down to earth way to judge vehicles that people actually want to buy and drive! There were 16 separate categories of scoring, with the 2017 Golf coming out ahead of the pack, earning a spot at the top of its segment in the Daily News Auto Awards as well as a spot on your “Must Test Drive” list.
